SLARP and Roblox
Roblox is in the SLARP catalog: the app recognizes it by the RobloxPlayerBeta.exe process, which starts for every experience. Roblox decides which server an experience gets; SLARP carries game traffic to it through its own network and optimizes ping and jitter.
The Roblox client connects to the experience's server right away, and changing the route mid-game would kick you out, so for Roblox SLARP does not connect automatically: press “Connect”, wait for “Connected” and only then join.
What SLARP does
Routes Roblox through its own network and optimizes ping and jitter
Picks the route to the server: the node is chosen for you, or you choose a city
If the connection drops, it finds a fallback route
Everything else on your PC runs as usual
What SLARP does not do
Does not change the region or the server in the game — you pick those in the game itself
Does not raise FPS and does not fix stutter caused by load on your PC
Will not help when the game's own servers are down — check the status2
Works only on Windows 10 and 11: SLARP does not run on a phone or a console
Does not connect on its own when Roblox starts: the process lives for one experience, so connect SLARP first
Roblox servers
Roblox does not publish its data center cities, so we do not name them. Its help does describe how the client connects: not bound to one port, it picks a free port on your PC for each session and sends data over UDP. If the router blocks UDP on any port, the game will not connect.3
The port range in Roblox's help is UDP 49152–65535 and depends on the operating system; the whole range must be open on the router.1
There Roblox also suggests checking Wi-Fi: connect by cable where possible, and if wireless is not the cause, look at the firewall. Antivirus and security software often block the game's internet access by default; then Roblox has to be allowed.1,3
How to see your ping in Roblox
Roblox has no separate “show ping” toggle: the number is shown by the Developer Console, available to regular players right inside an experience.4
- In an experience press F9 or type a chat command /console
- The Developer Console opens. The bar at the top shows the average latency to the server, next to tabs for client and server logs, memory and network. Developer Console
- To see how the network behaves in play, leave the console open for a couple of minutes of a match: the number in a lobby or an empty experience says little.
Menu items are named as in the source, in English: localized versions of the game translate them.
If Roblox stutters
The experience won't load or kicks you out
Roblox lists the signs of network trouble: an experience loads slowly or not at all, “Could Not Connect” or “ID=17 Failure” appears, the experience reports a shutdown. Most often, Roblox writes, the firewall is to blame, less often a slow line or unstable Wi-Fi. Check this before SLARP: it picks the route to the server, not firewall rules.1
Ping jumps, your character teleports
Open the Developer Console (F9) and watch the average latency for a few minutes. If it jumps on Wi-Fi and is steady on a cable, the problem is at home. If it is uneven on a cable too, it is the route to the Roblox server, where SLARP carries traffic through its own network, optimizes ping and jitter and finds a fallback route if the connection drops.4
An outage at Roblox
The Roblox status page has separate lines for the website, joining experiences (Game Join), asset delivery and Data Store. During an incident SLARP will not help: the route to the server is fine, the server itself is down. Wait for Roblox to close it.2

Anti-cheat and SLARP
Roblox forbids modified clients and any software that changes how the game works, and describes its anti-cheat messages: emulator detected, a virtual machine without direct GPU access, incompatible software (“Roblox has crashed due to incompatible software”). A modified client can get an account suspended or deleted.5
Game mode does not inject into the game and does not install an intercept driver on its traffic. We cannot vouch for publishers and their anti-cheat: they decide for themselves what counts as a violation.
If the game complains, take it off acceleration (“Don't accelerate (direct)” in the game's menu) and press “Report a problem”.

Questions about Roblox
Does SLARP connect by itself when I start Roblox?
No. The Roblox client starts for one experience and connects to its server right away; a route change mid-game would kick you out. So for Roblox the connection is manual: press “Connect” in SLARP, wait for “Connected”, then join.
Which ports does Roblox need?
Per Roblox's help, the client works over UDP and picks a free port on your PC per session; the range is currently UDP 49152–65535 and depends on the operating system. If the router blocks UDP on any port in that range, the game may not connect.
Where do I see ping in Roblox?
In an experience press F9 or type /console in chat: the Developer Console opens with the average latency to the server in the bar at the top.
Roblox on a phone or in an emulator?
No. SLARP is an app for Windows 10 and 11 and carries traffic of the Roblox client for Windows. The mobile version is out of its reach, and Roblox itself keeps Android emulators out unless the experience allows them.
Do I need a card for the trial?
No. The 72 hours are given once per account, with no payment and no card.
