SLARP and Enlisted

Enlisted is in the SLARP catalog as a Steam game: the app recognizes it by the enlisted.exe process. The game picks the battle server; SLARP carries battle traffic to it and watches ping, jitter and loss along the way.

What SLARP does

  • Routes Enlisted through its own network and optimizes ping and jitter

  • Picks the route to the server: the node is chosen for you, or you choose a city

  • If the connection drops, it finds a fallback route

  • Everything else on your PC runs as usual

What SLARP does not do

  • Does not change the region or the server in the game — you pick those in the game itself

  • Does not raise FPS and does not fix stutter caused by load on your PC

  • Will not help when the game's own servers are down

  • Works only on Windows 10 and 11: SLARP does not run on a phone or a console

If Enlisted stutters

Low latency mode is not about the network

In June 2025 Enlisted added low latency modes for Intel and AMD graphics cards: Intel Xe Low Latency and Radeon Anti-Lag 2. That is the latency between a key press and the frame on screen, unrelated to ping: these modes do not touch the network. If a battle feels “heavy” while ping is steady, look at those settings and the load on your PC, not at SLARP.2

Ping jumps in battle

Spikes at a normal average ping usually come from Wi-Fi, background downloads and your ISP's route. Compare a cable with Wi-Fi, stop downloads and streams on the same line. If the cable is steady, it is your home network, and SLARP will not fix it. If it jumps on a cable too, it is the route to the battle server: SLARP carries it through its own network and optimizes ping and jitter.

The connection to the battle server drops

Mid-battle drops most often come from the home network: the router, weak Wi-Fi, an ISP with outages. Check on a cable. On the route to the server SLARP looks for a fallback route when the connection drops, but it cannot fix an outage of the game's own servers: then all you can do is wait.

Anti-cheat and SLARP

Since September 2024 Enlisted has been protected by BattlEye: Gaijin announced the anti-cheat change and explained that nothing changes for fair players and that BattlEye runs only while the game client is running. The game's Steam page lists it as a kernel-level anti-cheat that has to be removed separately after uninstalling the game.3,1

Game mode does not inject into the game and does not install an intercept driver on its traffic. We cannot vouch for publishers and their anti-cheat: they decide for themselves what counts as a violation.

If the game complains, take it off acceleration (“Don't accelerate (direct)” in the game's menu) and press “Report a problem”.

Questions about Enlisted

Which anti-cheat does Enlisted use?

BattlEye. Gaijin replaced the previous anti-cheat with it in September 2024; it runs only while the Enlisted client is running. The game's Steam page lists BattlEye as a kernel-level anti-cheat.

Why does Enlisted lag while ping is steady?

If ping is steady and the game is jerky, the cause is your PC, not the network. Check your frame rate and the graphics card's low latency modes that Enlisted added in 2025: they are about frame latency, not ping. SLARP does not raise FPS.

Will Enlisted from the Gaijin launcher work too?

SLARP tells games apart by process name, not by store. Enlisted is listed in the catalog with the enlisted.exe process: if your version's process has the same name, the app recognizes it. If the game was not found on its own, add it manually.

Does SLARP change the battle server in Enlisted?

No. The game picks the battle server, and SLARP carries traffic to it and watches ping, jitter and loss along the way.

Do I need a card for the trial?

No. The 72 hours are given once per account, with no payment and no card.
